HKS 280 Exhaust Side Camshaft

The concept behind the HKS camshafts was to produce something that the customers would be truly happy with. This sounds simple on the surface but this is something very challenging. When the development team looked carefully at the details, the ultimate conclusion they drew was to look at the core purpose of the cam itself (to smoothly allow air into and out of the combustion chamber) and a good cam would do this job for the maximum efficiency. You can use the stock Valve Spring but you could have the valve jump depending on the actuated valve train weight and engine RPM.

• With its high power performance at a high RPM, it will beat other competitors in the drag race. HKS has tested it at both Japan and USA drag race such as NHRA Drag, etc.
• This is factory replacement type. It doesn’t require cylinder head modification or part replacement. It will also correspond with the inner shim altered vehicles.
• This is for those who are not satisfied with the 272 power at a high RPM or who changed the length of the intake pipe because of the surge tank replacement.
